There is an issue that is receiving absolutely no attention in the mainstream media of the United States of America. This issue strikes to the heart of American leadership and policy, and has been suppressed because of this. The issue in question is the true story of what happened to Nicholas Berg. I am not claiming to know this truth, I am merely stating that this truth is the issue, and we must discover this truth if the ideals that America is founded on are to remain credible in the eyes of the world. I believe, based upon the evidence presented in this paper, that the beheading of Nicholas Berg at the hands of alleged ?Al Qaeda? members was staged by the United States Military in order to draw the focus of the American Media and Public from the Torture and Abuse happening at Abu Ghraib Prison. What I ask of you is to take the time to examine this evidence for yourself in your own private office, and come to your own decision as to whether or not this is a newsworthy story.

As far as I, an average American citizen, can gather from the mainstream media, the Administration?s version has it that Nicholas Berg was in Iraq as a ?Civilian Contractor?. They continue that he was captured by ?Al Qaeda? forces in Iraq and beheaded by these forces as a demonstration against the American torture and sexual abuse at Abu Ghraib Prison. This version of the Nicholas Berg story is called seriously into question in the light of current evidence. Please mark the contrast to this version when reading the articles below.

Based upon this evidence, we see that it is just as likely that the United States Military created this video, as it is that is was created by Al Qaeda. It is extremely important that the Free Press all around the globe pick up on this story, and to hold the United States Government, and it?s current administration, responsible for their actions. Media organizations in America have a civic duty to challenge the government on occasions such as these, even if nothing comes of it. I beg the Media around the globe to realize its? power in checking the Media of the United States, as our government branches check each other. Your leaders challenge American leaders politically to keep them in check, your Media must do the same. Corporate organizations in America now own the majority of credible media outlets. Ted Turner and Bill Gates cannot dictate what the world sees on television if the media of other countries stands firm in the truth. Please, force the American Media to address this issue by addressing it yourselves. Make them force the American Administration to address this issue. You have the power to make this issue heard. Please, as an American, loyal to the idea of Free Press and the principles my country was founded on and can live to represent again, I beg you for your help in exposing this terrible act.
